Snehal Patel PT, MPT, SCS

Snehal "Snay" Patel brings 22 years of experience in Sports Medicine and Rehab.  He is currently a clinical coordinator at the Hospital for Special Surgery Sports Medicine Institute on the Westside of New York City, and his primary interests include ACL and Knee cartilage pathology, hip arthroscopy and overall return to sports testing and procedures for lower extremity return to sports patients.  He has treated professional athletes from the NBA, WNBA, NFL, NHL, MLB, MLS along with international basketball athletes from the Euroleague and beyond.  He has lectured extensively on topics of return to sport and rehabilitation of ACL, hip arthroscopy, and cartilage injuries of the knee and has also published on these topics as well.  His passion is helping athletes bridge the gap between rehabilitation and return to sport, including RTS testing and advanced movement testing using motion capture.

Terrance Sgroi PT, DPT, SCS, MTC

Terrance is the coordinator for Upper extremity rehab at the HSS westside Sports medicine Institute Rehab and Performance Center.  He has been a physical therapy consultant for the New York Mets since 2016.  He has worked with a spectrum of sports medicine patients with a focus on the overhead thrower and throwing related injuries.  His interests lie in the treatment of the shoulder and sports elbow.  
Terrance belongs to numerous academic societies.  He is both lead and coauthor on multiple baseball biomechanical reheard initiatives published in Peer reviewed journals.  He has presented locally and nationally to parents, athletes and medical staff on the overhead athlete and injury prevention topics.  His extensive knowledge and experience with the upper extremity athlete make him an integral part of the Sports Rehab lab

Billy Marrone PT, DPT, SCS

Billy Marrone graduated from the University of Connecticut DPT program in 2017. Upon graduation, Billy completed the Hospital for Special Surgery sports physical therapy residency program and has been board certified by the American Physical Therapy Association in Sports since 2019. Billy continues to work with athletes of all levels and is involved in the young athlete program at HSS. He has a particular interest in the integration of technology with return to sport testing and movement analysis. He maintains a role as a lecturer and mentor and the HSS Sports PT residency program. Billy has lectured and published on knee rehabilitation and return to sport decision making. He currently works as an advanced clinician at the HSS Westside Sports Medicine Institute

Jamie Osmak CSCS

Jamie Osmak is an Advanced Clinician at the HSS Westside Sports medicine institute.  He is a highly dedicated exercise physiologist with over 15 years experience in strength training and fitness.  He has worked with individuals with a wide variety of injuries, surgical procedures and athletic ability. He specializes in the rotational athlete, but is an expert in bridging the gap between rehab and fitness when returning any athlete to full performance after an injury. His immense knowledge of athletic movement coupled with the fact of knowing what limitations in strength and power that an athlete has, makes him an integral part of the team at HSS, and any client trying to reach their maximal physical potential.  As an avid golfer, when Jamie is not working, you’ll find him at the golf course working on his game.

Patrick Vignona MSPT, SCS, Cert MDT

Patrick is a native New Yorker and started his career in 2006 working part-time in a private sports clinic and part-time with a professional lacrosse team. To further pursue his sports career  he moved to Chicago where he made numerous connections with some of the top orthopedic doctors in the Chicagoland area, along with lecturing on upper and lower extremity sports injury management. . Patrick then headed back to NYC in 2015 and has been here ever since, and is now a Clinical Lead at the HSS Westside Sports Institute where he leads clinical education and is integral post surgical lower extremity rehab.  Patrick was a Staff PT with NY Red Bulls first team from 2016- 2020, and currently is on the US Men’s National Team staff as one of staff Physios. His expertise in lower extremity post surgical rehabilitation and load management skills to return to full play make him an integral part of the Sports Rehab Lab

Robbie Andrews PT, DPT, SCS

Robbie Andrews is a Physical Therapist at Hospital for Special Surgery specializing in working with athletes of all ages. His interest is in working with overhead athletes stemming from his previous collegiate baseball career at SUNY Cortland. He earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Touro College and spent several years working in Birmingham, AL alongside renowned Physicians and Physical Therapists. Robbie is a published author and has presented on treatment of overhead athletes at multiple sports conferences. He has worked with athletes of the MLB, NBA, NFL, EPL and MLS.
